Shutters

 Our shutters are crafted from solid mahogany lumber STANDARD. As with our other products, mahogany offers superior rot resistance, insect resistance, and product stability.

Don't settle for pine shutters from the big guys, that often times rot in as little as 5 years! Our shutter pricing is very competitive, especially ordered in whole-building quantities.

From our standard profiles that we stock to custom matched louver, panel, sticking, moulding, and/or other profiles, our shutters are truly custom. 

If you live in a designated historic district, no problem! We will work with your historic commission to come up with a design that suits your home.

Our standard louver profile is shown above. This profile is typically used on shutters that aren't on ground level. They give the appearance of genuine louvers from a distance, and are more economical than our custom or traditional louver profiles.

Shown above is our Traditional Louver profile. This profile gives the appearance of functional louvers, sparing no detail! Each individual louver is mortised into the stile of the shutter for maximum durability.

We match almost any louver profile with a good sample, as well. Send us a photo and we'll see what we can do.

We can offer both standard and custom matched panel profiles.

Paneled shutters are traditionally seen on the first floor of a home to supply both protection and privacy.

Shown above is a raised panel shutter with an applied moulding, however we can craft any flat panel, beadboard panel, v-groove panel, board and batten style, etc.
